Bigger oil price rollback!

Good news for all motorists!

Because oil prices continue to go down in the world market, local oil companies in the Philippines have started rolling back their own prices. Leading the pack is Unioil Petroleum Philippines with its price rollback of PhP2.50 per liter for gasoline and PhP6.00 a liter for diesel. Seaoil Philippines also cut its oil price by PhP2.00 per liter of gasoline, diesel and kerosene. Oil giants Shell, Petron and Caltex have also followed.

This is a very welcome news, in time for the All Saints’ and All Souls’ Day this weekend. At a time when many families will travel to the provinces to visit their dead loved-ones, the oil price rollback means more savings for them.

Can we expect more rollback for liquified petroleum gas (LPGs) and, eventually, transpo fare?
